NEW HIGH SCHOOL COED – Open Field Nights

Parents and Guardians,

The NRBB is excited to announce a new high school Coed division. On Sunday evenings, York 3 will belong to anyone graduating from high school between 2017-2021. This new Coed event will be pick-up game format, just like the old neighborhood sandlot games we played as children. There is little commitment and the price is right. Players can come for one evening or all five. New teams can be selected once a night or as many times as the players like. This will be informal and strictly for fun. So, if you’ve been trying to pry your child off the sofa, away from their devices, and get them active, don’t hesitate to sign them up. Below are more details.

  • Registration is OPEN now – Register for HS Coed
  • Sunday evenings from 7-9:00 PM (6/25, 7/9, 7/16, 7/23, 7/30) on Y3
  • Players can show up whenever they want!
  • Any high school child is eligible, sons, daughters, cousins & friends, from any community
  • Cost is free for ALL current NRBB registered high school players, but players must still register online
  • Cost is $20 for all new players and includes all 5-nights, players must register online
  • Cost – $10 for all new players, just show up with a signed release and pay $10 per night – Liability Release
  • Bats and Balls will be provided
  • NRBB representative(s) will be present from 7-9:00 to help organize play, collect payments and waivers
  • There will be no umpires
Lastly and for this to suceed, let the children spread the word using their devices. For questions or more information, contact the Coed commissioner, Chip at

Thanks and we hope to see York field 3 filled with high schoolers this weekend. Don’t hesitate to let us know what you think of this new chance for your child to play softball.
